Our first station will be in Immouzar, a small village, situated exactly between Fes and Ifrane city, it is a fascinating village with its clean refreshing air.
Immouzar is worth to be visited especially in the spring because of the extraordinary atmosphere of this season, the natural beauty, flowing streams, limestone gorges, rich plantations, and charming villages in the picturesque Moroccan countryside, It’s much known for its cheese production as it contains cheese firm which we will visit so as to taste the delicious different types of cheese and discover Morocco’s rich landscapes.
Our next station is going to be in Ifrane city, the word “Ifran” comes from the Berber language meaning caves.
We will walk among its gorgeous streets and explore its beauty, including the green prosperous spaces and the water wealth that the amazing city of Ifrane has, it feels more like Switzerland relocated to the Middle Atlas, because of its European and the architectural style of houses.
We cannot come to Ifrane without visiting Ain Vital; and have a rest inside the forests of this beautiful city.
After leaving Ifrane, we are going to continue our tour to Azrou village, an ethnic Berber area where Berber people still live a simple life.
The houses of Azrou are constructed in a very special manner, with classic green painted doors, windows and gleaming tiles. It is famed for its apple and cherry trees, as well as the kindness and friendliness of its people.
Furthermore, we’ll profit the occasion to visit Mama Aicha cave, one of the fantastic caves in Morocco, built around three hundred years ago and still a historical site merited to see.
The Middle Atlas contains plenty of lakes, but”Dayet Aoua” lake is the most visited one, it’s around 15 Kilometers far from Ifrane, it offers you wonderful natural outlooks, and it’s a quiet place to wander and relax in front of the adorable lake.
